Member's Directory

• Published semi-annually with the most updated information.
  
• Member companies information are used only for the statistical research purposes and provided to local public as 411service for Korean subsidiaries.
  
  

• Held on 1st quarter of every year.
  
• Minutes are distributed to all member companies.
  
• Member companies vote to elect new Chairman, vice-chairman and directors and approve the proper execution of expenditure and new budgeting plan.
  
• After annual meeting, the first semi-annual seminar is held.

Board Director's Meeting

• Exclusively board-directors are gathered once a month and discuss upcoming events and KITA's programs.
  
• In case of either the withdrawal or new assignment of member companies, a certificate of appreciation and small gift are prepared for representative of member companies.
  

• Held twice a year in association with local Korean government agencies; Korean Consulate General, Korea Trade Center, Korea Export Insurance, Int'l Trade Dept. and Employment Development Dept. of California State, law firms, Big 5 financial consulting companies
  
• Member companies, sponsors and speakers are invited.
  
• In case of the new assignment of Consul General in Korean Consulate General in L.A., will be invited as speaker.
  

• Twice a year board-directors are invited to Korean Consul General's resident for diner meeting
  
• About 2-3 times a year, board-directors are also invited for the special meeting with Korean government officers;
  ministers, vice-ministers, congressmen, chairman of Korean business associations… visiting LA area in business.

Guide Information Service for New Comers

• Free information service for future member companies seeking to establish their subsidiaries in US.
  
• Provide investment guide information in California and distribute “Setting up business in California” booklet.

Website Maintenance

• The latest information regarding KITA's activity, history, members' directory, internal news, event schedule will be soon available upon the accomplishment of new one in Korean version.

• Free RDS data service, very powerful Business & Industry research data service covering the world.
  
• Free World Trade Atlas service, statistical information covering US area.
  
• Int'l Trade Summary by fax every two weeks.
  
• ‘KITA News', internal newsletter, by fax every month announcing new comers' introduction, changes in company information, event schedule, survey request…

Golf Tournament

• Organized 1-2 times a year for all member companies in the type of shot-gun play with no more than 144 players
  
• 40-60 member companies of 120-144 players have been participating every time and donating their own products and services; airline tickets, automobiles, garments, tires, toys, foods, sporting goods, gifts certificates..
  
• It became a great chance to make wide acquaintances and promote their products and services among member companies.
  

• 16% of KITA's total annual expenditure were donated to local communities last year on the behalf of KITA's member companies regardless of donations made by each member companies to local communities.
  
• Each member companies have been trying to contribute a lot to local communities in every way through charity golf tournament, sponsorship for local education foundations, local newspaper advertisement sponsorship, cultural events sponsorship, donations to Asian pacific non-profit organizations…
